2011 Bmw x3
The Bloomberg BusinessWeek 2011 BMW X3 Review rates the sports utility vehicle as being packed full of some pricey options but goes on to proclaim it as the best compact luxury SUV that money can afford today. The BusinessWeek review acknowledges that though sales of the US built X3 have been falling steadily since its debut in 2004, the 2011 model has managed to buck this trend due to its better fuel efficiency and superior design.
Kelley Blue Book’s 2011 BMW X3 Review notes that the 2011 model has more standard features and a larger interior space. The review notes that although the X3 was by and large the pioneer of the compact SUV models, preceding brands like Mercedes Benz, Acura and Infiniti; it failed to live up to the hype and even with a number of improvements that stopped short of complete redesigns, the sales steadily dropped over the years. As is consistent with almost every 2011 BMW X3 Review, this publication notes that the 2011 X3 model is still more expensive than other models in its class, though the review is quick to point out that the superior features certainly warrant the high price tag.The auto blog review describes the latest SUV offering from BMW as offering greater improvements on performance and look while preserving the efficiency and technology that BMW has come to be renowned for over the years. The reviewer goes further to assert that after years of trying, BMW finally has a model of compact crossover sports utility vehicle that will finally climb to the top spot after a number of some spectacular failures.
Another influential 2011 BMW X3 Review is by the Automobile Magazine which goes ahead to proclaim that in the 2011 X3, BMW has a SUV capable of being the dominant player in the compact crossover class. The US News 2011 BMW X3 Review ranks the SUV 4th overall in a ranking of 8 luxury compact SUV models in the US market. This review is particularly enlightening as the journal has analyzed 15 other reviews published by automotive experts. The results are then compiled together with data obtained from US News own test drives. This ranking is higher than the 2011 Mercedes-Benz GLK; but a bit lower than 2011 Audi Q5 (ranked first), 2011 Infiniti EX (second), and 2011 Volvo XC60 (third). This would seem like a somewhat negative review but looking at the numbers; the 2011 X3 certainly impressed. Out of a possible highest score of 10, the 2011 X3 earned 8.5 points overall and 8.5 for performance, 8.8 for exterior design, 8.2 for interior design and 7.0 for reliability.
